We have been working on a series of exciting updates to Dryfta’s event ticketing software designed to improve maximize revenue for event organizers. Our latest features focus on streamlining the process of managing waitlists, ensuring that no opportunity is missed when tickets become available.
Detailed Overview of the Updates
Waitlist Display and Notification: In the Tickets setup, we’ve added a button that allows admins to display a waiting list for any ticket type. This list includes the names and email addresses of waitlisted users. Additionally, a new “Notify” button enables admins to send a predefined notification to all users on the waitlist, informing them of ticket availability. This feature ensures timely communication and maximizes ticket sales by quickly reaching interested attendees.
Waitlist Functionality on Website: When tickets for an event sell out, an “Add to Wait List” button will appear beside the ticket type on the event website, provided the “Display Add to waiting list button” option is enabled in the backend. Attendees who click this button are automatically added to the waitlist. This seamless process ensures that potential attendees can express their interest and be promptly notified when tickets become available.
Advanced Filtering for Waitlisted Contacts: In the backend, admins can now filter contacts using the “Added to Wait List” filter under the Contacts module. A new “Ticket Type” filter has also been added, allowing admins to combine these filters to pinpoint contacts who have added themselves to the waitlist for specific ticket types. This enhanced filtering capability extends to reports and segments, providing detailed insights and facilitating targeted communication.
Benefits of the New Waitlist Features
Improved Communication: The ability to notify all waitlisted users with a predefined message ensures that potential attendees are quickly informed when tickets become available, increasing the likelihood of converting interest into ticket sales.
Enhanced User Experience: The “Add to Wait List” button on the event website makes it easy for users to express their interest in sold-out events, ensuring they remain engaged and hopeful for a chance to attend.
Streamlined Management: The display of waitlisted users and advanced filtering options provide admins with the tools they need to efficiently manage waitlists, track user interest, and optimize ticket availability strategies.
Increased Sales Opportunities: By capturing and maintaining a waitlist, event organizers can maximize their sales potential by promptly filling available spots as soon as tickets are released.
