The number of women attending tech conferences remains significantly low, and it’s easy to see why. The reason is largely due to the demographics of tech’s own leadership and technical positions, as many of these positions continue to be dominated by men. As such, since most conferences draw speakers from the same talent pipeline, the disparity is evident in the panels, keynotes, and networking opportunities at these events.
