How’s planning going? We’ve been busy polishing Dryfta so the platform keeps doing more of the heavy lifting for you. Here’s what just landed in your account:

What’s New & Noteworthy

  1. Super‑Sized Webinars
    • Host up to 500 speakers/moderators on camera
    • Livestream to 8 000 viewers simultaneously
    • Moderators can flip the switch from “watch‑only” to “join the stage” for live Q&A and allow participants to ask questions

  2. Undo‑Button for Almost Everything
Accidentally delete a user, order or submission? Head to the new Restore Center and bring it back in seconds.

  3. Smarter Speaker Emails
The Notify Speakers tool now lets you drop in [sessionvenue], [sessiontime] and an improved [sessionpresentations] (now with sub‑session times).

  4. Presentation‑Level Schedules
    • Attendees can hit Add to My Schedule next to any presentation
    • Their new My Presentations Schedule page shows date, time, venue and a “Speaker” badge where relevant
    • Speakers can view the list of participants who’ve starred their presentation (hello targeted engagement!).

  5. Real‑Time Seat Counter
Sessions now display how many seats are still open—no more guesswork.

  6. Event Countdown in the App
Build anticipation with an optional live countdown clock on mobile.

  7. Meetings Made Easy
My Meetings and My Availability now appear side‑by‑side so users can open slots and confirm meetings in one view.

  8. Power Filters on Mobile Schedules
In‑app Program Schedule and My Schedule screens now include quick filters for lightning‑fast searching.

Bonus: Our default invoice now accepts the shortcode [make‑payment‑link]. The recipients can pay in one click, no login needed.

“Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together.” – Vincent van Gogh

Every tweak above is a small thing that stacks up to smoother, smarter events for you and your team.

For five years running we’ve powered the Ethnography in Education Research Forum, convened by the Center for Urban Ethnography at Penn GSE. Founded in 1980, the Forum is world‑renowned for advancing rigorous, engaged inquiry across generations of scholars and practitioners. UPenn relies on Dryfta for abstract submissions, peer review, program scheduling, registration and post‑event surveys—helping hundreds of ethnographers connect, share and grow each February. We’re proud to be part of their thriving community.

That’s a wrap for this month. Dive in, explore, and let us know what you think. Your feedback drives our roadmap.
