Why do the Tickets Sold count show more than the number of tickets set for a ticket type?

I have set the number of tickets for a specific ticket type to a certain limit, but when I check tickets sold, the number is higher than the set limit. Why does this discrepancy occur?

The Tickets Purchased or Tickets Sold filter in Dryfta includes attendees who have canceled their tickets as well. Therefore, the count might show a higher number than the actual tickets available or set for sale. When a ticket is canceled, it is added back to the total available tickets for that ticket type and can be sold again on the website. 

Dryfta has updated the Tickets Purchased filter to allow filtering to only show confirmed attendees, excluding canceled tickets. 

To get accurate numbers of tickets sold, use the updated filters that exclude canceled tickets and show only confirmed ticket purchases. This update applies to all ticket types.
