Why am I still losing credits when adding reviewers under my 50-reviewer plan limit?
Last updated Jul 19, 2026
Question
I have a yearly plan that includes 50 reviewer slots and learned that adding additional reviewers beyond this limit consumes credits. I removed some reviewers I added earlier to stay within the 50 limit, but when I add new reviewers, credits are still being deducted even though it looks like I'm under the 50 active reviewers allowed. Why is this happening and how do credits work with reviewer additions and removals?
Answer
In Dryfta's system, your yearly plan includes a set number of reviewer slots (e.g., 50). When you add reviewers beyond this included limit, the system automatically deducts credits for each additional reviewer added. Importantly, credit consumption is tied to the addition event itself — once a reviewer is added beyond your plan's limit, credits are permanently consumed for that specific addition and this usage is logged in the system.
If you remove reviewers later, credit usage for those previously added reviewers is not reversed or refunded. This means that even if you remove some reviewers and your current active reviewer count is below the plan limit, the system still shows credits consumed because those extra reviewer additions beyond your plan's limit occurred previously.
To check your detailed credit usage history, go to Billing > Usage History in your Dryfta administrator dashboard.
Summary:
- You have a fixed number of reviewer slots included in your plan.
- Adding additional reviewers beyond the included slots consumes credits automatically.
- Removing reviewers does not restore consumed credits.
- Credit deduction is based on the total number of reviewers ever added beyond your plan, not on the current active reviewers.
