What time zone is used for submission deadlines in Dryfta?

In Dryfta, when setting a submission deadline (e.g., August 6 at 23:59), what time zone is the deadline based on? Is it the server time zone, or is it local to the user's location?

Submission deadlines in Dryfta are based on the system's server time zone, not the local time zone of the user submitting the material. For example, if your server is set to Nairobi, Kenya time zone, then the submission deadline time (e.g., August 6 at 23:59) corresponds to that time zone. 

However, it is possible to change the server time zone to reflect a different location (such as EDT) for the submission and review period. 

Changing the server time zone for this purpose will not affect other functionalities of the system, especially if there are no sessions or schedules set up yet. 

This allows you to set submission deadlines more conveniently without needing to convert times between zones for users.
