Update User Roles via Importing Contacts in Dryfta

Last updated Jul 19, 2026

Question

Why does the column selection dropdown remain blank when trying to import contacts to update user roles in Dryfta? How should I proceed with the import to update user roles?

Answer

When importing contacts to update user roles in Dryfta, the dropdown field for selecting columns during import may appear blank for all fields. This behavior is expected because the dropdown's sole function is to select the corresponding field to map with the field on the left side of the import interface.

If the dropdown appears blank but your CSV file is prepared correctly, you should still proceed with the import as usual. The blank dropdown does not prevent the mapping process; it is the interface for matching your CSV columns to Dryfta fields.

Ensure your CSV file has the correct structure and includes the columns necessary for updating user roles. Mapping the fields correctly during import will update the user roles as intended.
