Required Profile Fields Missing from Registration Form for Some Ticket Groups

Last updated Jul 19, 2026

Question

Why do some required profile fields appear incomplete for certain users, and how does field visibility relate to ticket group settings in Dryfta registration forms?

Answer

In Dryfta, mandatory fields may be configured to display only for specific ticket groups. This means that these fields will only appear and be required when users register via the URLs specific to those ticket groups.

Consequently, if a user accesses the registration form through the main URL that lists all ticket groups, fields set to display for specific groups will not appear — potentially causing incomplete profiles for those fields.

To ensure that required fields are visible and required for all users regardless of the ticket group or entry point, Dryfta admins need to edit those fields and set them to display for "All ticket groups." This control regulates where the fields show in the registration form layouts.

The setting "Display based on ticket types" will still function within those layouts, showing only fields relevant to the selected ticket type. Adjusting the "display for all ticket groups" setting ensures required profile information, such as country of residence or passport details, is captured universally during registration, which is essential for processes like visa issuance.
