Minor Discount Calculation Variance When Applied Across Multiple Ticket Types

Why does a discount configured for a total order amount sometimes result in a slightly different total discount amount (e.g., $50.01 instead of $50.00) when applied across multiple ticket types?

When a discount amount is set to apply to the total order and is evenly distributed across multiple valid ticket types within the order, the system divides the total discount by the number of ticket types to determine a per-ticket discount. 

If the division results in a fractional number with more than two decimal places, the per-ticket discount gets rounded to two decimal places. 

When these rounded discounts are summed across all ticket types, the total discount amount can slightly differ from the original intended discount. This minor variance, often around ±$0.01, arises due to how decimal rounding is handled when splitting the discount amount evenly across tickets. 

This behavior ensures equal distribution but may cause tiny discrepancies in total discount amounts. Such small rounding differences are typically negligible and do not significantly impact the overall discount applied to the order.
