Manual Sending of "Submission Status Changed to Accepted" Email Notification

Last updated Jul 2, 2026

Question

Is the “Email notification when Submission Status Changed to Accepted” in Dryfta only automatically sent when not disabled, and is there a way to manually send this email to selected abstracts? What is the best method to notify accepted abstracts manually?

Answer

The "Email notification when Submission Status Changed to Accepted" in Dryfta is designed to be sent automatically whenever a submission's status is updated to Accepted, provided the notification is enabled.

There is no direct way to manually select specific abstracts and trigger this particular email template for sending.

To manually control which authors receive this notification, you can temporarily disable the automated Accepted notification email while updating the status of abstracts whose authors you do not wish to notify. Then re-enable the notification and update the status for the remaining authors whose notifications you want to send; the system will send the emails automatically upon those status changes.
