How to Verify the Email Content Sent to Authors After Bulk Abstract Acceptance

Last updated Jul 2, 2026

Question

After bulk accepting multiple abstract submissions, how can I find out which email the authors are receiving? I created a customized acceptance letter, but the email subject they receive appears different.

Answer

When you accept abstract submissions in bulk, the system automatically sends acceptance notification emails to the authors. These emails are generated from predefined email templates within the platform. To verify or customize the exact email content and subject the authors receive, you need to access the Engagement > Email Notifications section of your Dryfta administrator panel. Specifically, look for the 'Abstract Acceptance' email template. Here you can view, edit, or confirm the email subject and body that will be sent upon acceptance.

If you have created a separate acceptance letter, note that it is not linked automatically to the email notifications. You need to send the acceptance letter separately and is not triggered automatically on submissions' acceptance.

You can also disable or enable these automatic email notifications if you prefer to manage communications manually.

In summary:
1. Go to your Dryfta admin panel.
2. Navigate to the Email Notifications section.
3. Find the email templates related to abstract acceptance/rejection notifications.
4. Review and edit the content and subject lines as needed.

This will help you confirm what your authors receive after abstract acceptance, especially following bulk actions.
