How to Show Service Fees Separately on Tickets in Dryfta Invoices and Receipts

Last updated Jul 21, 2026

Question

Is there a way to display a service fee as a separate item on an invoice or receipt for tickets paid via PayPal in Dryfta?

Answer

In the past, Dryfta did not have a shortcode to display additional processing or service fees separately on invoices or receipts for tickets paid through PayPal or other payment gateways. However, a shortcode {additional_charge} has now been added that can be included in your invoice and receipt email templates.

By adding this shortcode, the service fee will appear as a separate line item, making it clear to attendees what portion of the payment is the service fee.

To implement this, update your email template or invoice layout in the administrator interface by inserting {additional_charge} where you want the processing fee to appear.
