How to set up and test visa letters for attendees in Dryfta?

Last updated Jul 21, 2026

Question

How can an event admin set up visa letters for attendees, allow attendees to self-generate the visa letter, and is there a shortcode to add the current date dynamically to the visa letter?

Answer

To set up visa letters in Dryfta, admins should use the Letter Builder available in the backend to enter the content for the visa letters. To enable registered attendees to self-generate their visa letters, go to People > Contacts Settings in the admin dashboard and enable the option "Display Generate Visa Letter button".

There is a shortcode available to automatically add the current date to the visa letter when it is downloaded.

To test the visa letter request and receipt process without making it open to all attendees, customize the visa letter content and enable the generate button selectively for test contacts or test accounts before enabling it for all registered attendees.

Note that Dryfta provides a paid customization service to add header/footer images and custom content for 100 credits if needed.
