How to resolve session time conflict errors in the program builder

Last updated Jul 19, 2026

Question

When saving a session in the program builder, I get a time conflict notification even though no sessions appear scheduled at that time. How can I resolve this?

Answer

The time conflict warning occurs because there is a session scheduled that overlaps or is too close to your intended session time.

For example, if you have a session ending at 10:00 AM, the next session cannot start exactly at 10:00 AM; it should start at 10:01 AM or later to avoid conflicts. Check the schedule for any sessions that might extend into or end just before your desired time slot.

Alternatively, you can disable the time conflict check by navigating to Program Builder > Settings > Conflict Settings and turning off 'Check for time conflict between sessions'. This will allow you to save sessions without the system enforcing time conflicts, but be aware that overlapping sessions might create problems in your program schedule.
