How to Manage Survey Visibility and Session Surveys in the Dryfta Event Platform

How can I edit survey forms, manage their visibility on website and app, set start and end dates, and understand session survey behavior in the Dryfta platform?

1. To edit a survey form, navigate to the Data Collection area and open the Survey Forms tab. Click on the specific form to edit its fields and questions.

2. Currently, it is not possible to set a start date for a survey. You can set an end date, but for start dates, keep the survey unpublished until you wish to make it live, then publish it manually.

3. Surveys do not have separate visibility controls for the website and the app. A survey published on the website will also appear in the app. Therefore, to show surveys only on the app and not on the website is not supported currently.

4. Program session surveys are generated automatically when you enable the survey option for a session. You do not need to create the survey form manually. After saving the session with surveys enabled, the default survey form is created, which you can customize in the Form Builder.

5. On the website, the "Take Survey" button can be set to display for all attendees or only for attendees who have checked in. The check-in button activates 5 minutes before the session begins. This setting restricts survey access to checked-in attendees only.

6. In the Dryfta app, the "Rate session" (survey) button appears only after the session has concluded, regardless of check-in status. This behavior differs from the website but is currently the standard.

7. You can hide the "Select a Survey" menu on the website if you do not want attendees to take surveys before the session starts.
