How to ensure consistent abstract formatting and improve presenter visibility in Program Builder

Last updated Jul 22, 2026

Question

I'm using the Program Builder to create our event program. When previewing the program, the abstracts appear exactly as originally uploaded, resulting in inconsistent formatting like varying font sizes and styles. Some abstracts have presenter names at the top, others don't, making the program look messy.

Also, the search function returns a big list of sessions but does not highlight the presentation by the searched presenter's name.

Answer

To standardize abstract formatting in the Program Builder and avoid inconsistent fonts or styles, navigate to Program Builder > Settings and set the abstract descriptions to display in "Plain Text" mode.

This setting strips the original formatting and ensures a uniform and professional look across all abstracts.

The search functionality is designed to search by presenter, track, format, or time slot and should work both before and after publishing the program. However, search results provide a list of sessions rather than highlighting individual presentations by presenter name directly.
