How to Enable Public Display of Documents Uploaded to Participant Profiles

Last updated Jul 22, 2026

Question

How can an event admin enable public display of personalized documents that are uploaded directly to participant profiles in Dryfta?

Answer

Documents uploaded directly by admins to participant profiles in Dryfta are private and not visible to participants by default. To allow participants to see documents, you should use the Registration Questions feature as follows:

1. In the Dryfta Admin Dashboard, navigate to **Registration Questions**.
2. Create a new field with the type **File Upload**.
3. In the field settings, set the **Field Visibility** to **Everyone** and check the box **Display this field in public profile**.
4. Save the field.
5. Upload the personalized documents under this field in each participant's profile.

With these steps, participants will be able to view the uploaded documents on their public profiles when they log in and go to the Update Your Profile page.

**Important:** Displaying sensitive personal information publicly can raise privacy concerns. Ensure you have participant consent and that this complies with your organization's privacy policies before enabling public display of such documents.
