How to Download a PDF of All Uploaded Abstracts in Dryfta
Last updated Jul 19, 2026
Question
Is it possible to download a single PDF file containing all uploaded abstracts instead of only a CSV file? How can this be done and will there be any credit charges? Can you generate the abstract book multiple times?
Answer
Yes, Dryfta allows you to generate a complete abstract book in PDF format that includes all the uploaded abstracts, instead of just a CSV file.
To do this, navigate to the "Abstract Book" section under Abstracts & Reviews > Advanced Setup and use the tool to generate the complete abstract book as a PDF.
There is no credit charge for using this tool, and you can generate the abstract book as many times as needed. If you make a book now, you can also generate it again later to include any updates or changes to the abstracts.
Once generated, the PDF should either open in your browser or download to your computer based on your browser's settings. If the PDF does not immediately appear, check your browser's downloads folder or ensure that pop-ups are enabled.
To improve the abstract book's appearance, you can upload custom front cover, back cover, and background images. Additionally, if certain fields like abstract summary are collected via file upload fields rather than default text fields, you can include those specific fields in the abstract book editor to display links to the uploaded files within the PDF.
Note that if default fields are unused in your event setup, corresponding sections in the abstract book may appear empty. If you experience continuous loading or issues generating the PDF, contact Dryfta support with your event details to troubleshoot the problem.
