How to Change Review Deadlines When Using Review Stages in Dryfta
Last updated Jul 20, 2026
Question
I need to move ahead the deadline for reviews in Dryfta, but when I update the deadline from the general settings, it does not reflect on the reviewers' side and they cannot submit their reviews. Changing to single revision updates the deadline but removes reviewers' questions. How can I properly update review deadlines when using review stages?
Answer
When using review stages in Dryfta, the review deadlines are managed per stage rather than in the general abstract settings. To update the review deadlines so that reviewers see and can submit reviews by the new dates, you need to configure the deadlines within each review stage.
Here’s what to do:
1. Go to your Dryfta Administrator panel.
2. Navigate to the "Review Stages" section (typically found under Abstract Management).
3. For each review stage (e.g., first revision, second revision), set the new deadline date.
This ensures that the system recognizes the new deadlines for reviewers and maintains the review questions associated with each stage. Changing the deadline in the general settings will not affect review stages, and switching to single revision mode can remove questions because it alters the review workflow.
