How to Allow Attendees to Cancel Registration for Free Events and Send Reminder Notifications

For a free conference with no registration costs, how can I allow attendees to cancel their registration automatically? Additionally, is it possible to send reminder emails before the event, including a link for deregistration?

In Dryfta, for free events where attendees register as contacts, you can enable the "Check-in button" under Modules > People > Contact Settings. This feature allows attendees to confirm their participation by checking in, and they can also "check out" to indicate they are no longer attending. While this does not automate deregistration via a dedicated cancellation link, it provides a way for attendees to manage their attendance status.

Regarding sending reminder emails before the conference with a deregistration option, you can use Dryfta's email campaign tool to send reminders a few days before the event. You may include instructions for attendees to change their attendance status by checking out or provide your contact details for cancellation requests. Currently, there is no built-in automatic deregistration link, but you can create a process to handle cancellations based on attendee responses.
