How does Dryfta recognize membership status and levels for registration pricing?

Last updated Jul 21, 2026

Question

How will my Dryfta site know who is a member and what their membership level is to allow purchase of the appropriate registration? Our membership data is housed on a separate website.

Answer

To have your Dryfta site recognize members and their membership levels, you need to import your contacts from your external membership system into Dryfta.

After importing, assign the corresponding 'Member' role or membership level to each contact within Dryfta. Then, when creating ticket types, you can set up specific tickets for members and non-members accordingly.

This setup ensures that members receive the appropriate registration pricing and access.

Note that Dryfta does not automatically sync with external membership databases unless an integration is available, so manual import or integration methods must be used.
