File Viewing Issue for Large Files in Dryfta and Google Slides Preview

Why do some files display a 'file too large' message and fail to open using the Google Slides preview in Dryfta? How can I resolve this issue to allow users to view or download large files?

Dryfta uses Google Preview to show slides, documents, and other files within the platform. Google Preview has a certain file size limit (approximately 20MB) for in-app previews. If the file exceeds this limit, the system tries to open the file in a new tab using Google Slides for full viewing. However, if the 'Download' option is disabled in Dryfta, the system does not allow opening the file in a new tab to prevent users from downloading it. As a result, clicking the Google Slides button may not open the file at all if download is disabled.

To resolve this issue, you need to enable the 'Download' button option for that file. This will allow users to open the file in a new browser tab via Google Slides and download it if necessary. Without enabling downloads, large files exceeding the preview size limit cannot be viewed or accessed through Google Slides within Dryfta.
