Can exhibitors scan delegate QR codes and track booth visits?

Last updated Jul 21, 2026

Question

Does Dryfta provide a feature that allows exhibitors to scan delegate QR codes when they visit their booths? Can this data be used to know which delegates visited each booth?

Answer

Yes, Dryfta's event app includes the option for all users, including exhibitor representatives, to scan delegate QR codes during the event. When an exhibitor scans a delegate's QR code, the delegate's vCard is added to that exhibitor rep's profile. Exhibitors can then log in post-event and download all the collected vCards in CSV format. This enables tracking how many exhibitors a delegate has visited.

Additionally, event organizers can view the number of attendees who have visited each sponsor through the Sponsors hub, which can be used to manually identify attendee visits.

For more detailed reporting, Dryfta can deploy a paid update that, within Contacts view and Reporting, displays counts of sponsor listings visited by each delegate and the number of sponsor reps' vCards collected. This report will include counts of exhibitors visited per delegate but does not include exhibitor names to maintain privacy. This optional update has an associated cost and delivery timeline.

In summary, the system natively supports exhibitor scanning of delegate QR codes and basic tracking, with an optional upgrade available for enhanced reporting.
