Abstract Submission Disabled Despite Open Submission Period

Last updated Jul 21, 2026

Question

Why are submitters seeing the message "Not accepting submissions right now. Contact organizers." even though the submission portal is still open? How can I allow more abstract submissions?

Answer

If submitters receive a message saying "Not accepting submissions right now. Contact organizers." while the submission portal is still open, it usually means your event has reached the maximum number of abstract submissions allowed by your current Dryfta plan.

Dryfta uses a credit system where each abstract submission requires 2 credits. The maximum submissions allowed correspond to the credits purchased. For example, a plan with 400 submissions means 800 credits have been allocated.

To resolve this and allow additional abstract submissions, you need to purchase more credits:

1. Log into your Dryfta administrator dashboard.
2. Go to the Billing page (generally located under your dashboard or account settings).
3. Scroll down to the credits section.
4. Purchase the desired number of additional credits to accommodate more abstracts.

Once additional credits are purchased, the system will allow more submissions until those new credit limits are reached.

Note: One abstract requires 2 credits, so for 100 additional abstracts, purchase 200 credits.

After purchase, the submission portal will reopen immediately for submitters to continue submitting abstracts.
